Issai Teru, Co-Finder of the Teru Clan

Beginning Arc: Issai was born. A few seconds later, so did his sister, Riri. They were born as twins, healthy ones at that, in the hospital of a village that was, a few years afterwards, destroyed. Right then, they were 5 years old. His mother and father were "mercenary" ninja, so he learnt most of their skills on the go, while his father and mother were travelling to gather expenses to live, and hopefully buy a house or something. At the age of 6, they started aquiring training in the ninja way, to help his parents. For some reason though, neither his father nor his mother seemed to have any knowledge of the so called "genjutsu" or "ninjutsu". Or maybe they just couldn't use it. Whatever may be the reason, he didn't learn anything either, asides the very basics, such as walking on water and climbing up trees.

"Destruction" Arc: At the age of 9, his father had mysteriously disappeared. Mayhaps on a secret mission, mayhaps not. He was never found, and neither were there rumours in the various villages that his sister, himself, and his mother went through. His mother kept training him and his sister in the ways of the ninja, even passing unto them some of the "tools of the trade" that his father left behind. Issai, although, prefered his hands. A few years afterwards, at the tender age of 14, his mother "joined the lifestream", whatever that was. But it was his mother's dying words, and he'll believe them. He took care of his sister and of himself along the way, as he kept growing stronger, alongside his sister.

"Construction" Arc: At the age of 17, even though not officially a ninja, nor his sister for that same matter, he, alongside his sister, had cleared numerous missions, but never anything over B. They finally decided to settle near the village of Kumogakure, since travelling was getting annoying. That's when they noticed their difference towards other ninja. Sure, their speed and their strenght made some of the harder tasks possible, but trained individuals were different. They could do some sort of magic. So he turned to his sister, and they both started research. They had to gain something to become better, and earn their places in Kumogakure.

"Rebirth" Arc: After years of research, they had found a way to become "different" from everyone else, unique in their own right. They learnt how to infuse themselves with the untapped energy inside them, and create small "crystals" out of it, by "coughing" them out of their throats, much like cats cough up hairballs. It was a lenghty process, but it could work. Afterwards, they could infuse the crystals slowly with more energy, and use them to create their own techniques. At the age of 19, they could easily create the crystals and cough them out in the shortest time avaiable, and at 20, they had already found ways to use them.

Present Arc: At the age of 23 and a ½, him and his sister have raised themselves into good special jounins, wielding their "mysterious" techniques to swiftly raise through the ranks, and earn their trust (and a house) from the Raikage. They never really knew what happened to their father though. Not that it really mattered. That much.
